Ashby de la Plaine presently serves the arcadian community of Sentinel, Oklahoma as High School Principal. Educational leadership, school synthesis, and narrative culture through global fellowship are her tradition. Ashby’s doctoral research at the University of Oklahoma is centered on student affinity-for-learning and sense-of-belonging through cultural engagement. Leadership practice encompasses project management in federal programming and equitable services as OK State Ombudsman, curriculum frameworks development for fine arts as scaffolding writer and e-learning designer, and advocacy for arts education through rural STEAM development.
