Chad Soupir,
Mr. Chad Soupir is an energetic and visionary educator with 33 years of classroom and instructional leadership experience. Currently serving as principal at Elkhorn Valley View Middle School, he leads a student body of 700 students, with an upcoming expansion to 900. Mr. Soupir is recognized for his ability to inspire high-performing teams, his passion for literacy, special education and his commitment to creating a strong sense of belonging among students and staff.
A champion of literacy and student engagement, he has developed and implemented programs to strengthen reading achievement while fostering collaborative school cultures. His professional experience extends into strategic planning, program development, and community partnerships that enhance educational outcomes and student success.
Beyond his role in education, Mr. Soupir is deeply engaged in philanthropic and professional service. He currently serves as Regional Director for PLAYSMART, a nonprofit organization that develops leadership skills and confidence in at-risk youth. He also serves as Vice President on the Board of Coalition RX, which focuses on substance abuse prevention for middle school students. His commitment to youth extends through years of volunteerism, leadership, and mentorship, positively impacting students and families across Nebraska.
At the national level, Mr. Soupir has been an active member of the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE) for 25 years, serving on its Board of Trustees and later on the Executive Council. During his tenure, he contributed to strategic planning, business development, and the recruitment of a new CEO, ensuring the organization’s continued growth and sustainability.
Mr. Soupir is also a long-standing member of several professional organizations, including the Nebraska Council of School Administrators (NCSA), Nebraska State Association of Secondary School Principals (NSASSP), National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), Nebraska School Masters, NAMLE, and ASCD/Nebraska Affiliate.
Throughout his career, Mr. Soupir has remained dedicated to one guiding belief: every child deserves the opportunity to belong, to learn, and to lead. His work in education and nonprofit leadership continues to reflect his passion for literacy, relationships, and community-building—both inside and beyond the classroom
