Amy Kroll is the Director of Special Education at HTRS Public Schools schools in Humboldt, Nebraska. This is her 30th year in education, all of which have been in special education.  Amy began her career as a Prekindergarten teacher at a private school for students with disabilities. She then served as a secondary special education teacher and transition specialist for 15 years before moving into the role of Director of Special Education at Auburn Public Schools, in Auburn, Nebraska. In her current position at Weeping Water Public Schools, Amy supervises all special education programs Birth-age 21, a school-based childcare center, and is the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and School Improvement Lead Administrator. Throughout her career, Amy has participated in many state-led committees that work to address the needs of students with disabilities. Amy is the president of the Nebraska Association of Special Education Supervisors (NASES). She is an advocate for supporting educators to develop high-quality special education programs through strong collaboration, training and partnerships.
