Kareen Skillestad Bangert, Ed.D., is a retired Elementary Principal with 40 years of education experience, including 34 years as an elementary principal dedicated to serving students, educators, and families in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. Kareen's academic achievements include earning her BA from Carroll College, Helena, MT, MA from Montana State-Billings, Billings, MT, and Ed.D. from Montana State University, Bozeman, MT.
Bangert is a dedicated retired elementary principal who brings her wealth of experience to supervising student teachers and serving as a Reflective Educator Project (REP) Coach for aspiring educators through Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Her passion for mentoring and shaping the next generation of teachers is evident in her commitment to nurturing and guiding future education professionals. She has worked with a diverse spectrum of learners, from operating Head Start and Title I programs within the elementary school of Kindergarten through Sixth Grade students to working with families whose children have learning challenges such as visual and hearing impairments, autism, and Down syndrome. This experience has honed her ability to cater to different educational needs and has enriched her understanding of the diverse learning landscape. Her passion for helping youth find their purpose in life through education remains unwavering.
